Dhimbam Ghats
What do we have
HISTORIC & HERITAGE
The palace is in the centre of Mysore, and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward. Mysore is commonly described as the City of Palaces, and there are seven palaces including this one.
MONOGAMOUS & LANDMARKS
While we may prize monogamy in many human cultures, it’s pretty unusual among mammals. Hasanur is covered with thick vegetation such as Areca Palm (Pakku) and Pepper trees.
WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve is a protected area and tiger reserve in the Eastern Ghats in the Erode District of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
MUSEUMS
While preparing the pictorial field guide to the forest plants of Dhimbam Ghats one of us collected a climber with semi-succulent leaves and long white inflorescence at Asanur.
RELIGIOUS VENUES
Sathyamangalam is situated on the southern side of the Western Ghats, which extend towards the east from the Nilgiri mountains. The town lies close to the border of the adjoining state of Karnataka

A petition was filed in the Madras High Court that wild animals were killed in the stretch passing through the core tiger reserve area and sought implementation of Erode District
